We’re The Slices

A punchy instrumental funk band formed in Jerusalem.
Our sound is a mash-up of old-school funk heroes like Prince and James Brown with modern groove kings like Vulfpeck and Snarky Puppy.

We’ve lit up stages from the Jerusalem Arts Fest and the Student Festival to sweaty late-night sets at Pergamon, Levontin, and Hoodna Bar.

We met studying jazz at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and have been mixing genres, cultures, and a few wild interpretations ever since.
